 1. Comparative descriptions of services, workforce and workforce developments in 10 countries, in the context of the overall European situation.


2. A themed conference and study visit in 4 partner countries:  

  • working inclusively with children & families, across agencies and age groups: the role of the pedagogue;
  • working with diversity, particularly ethnicity, language, disability and gender;
  • inclusive workforce models for rural and remote areas;
  • working with the child as protagonist (active agents in their own learning)

3. Major conferences in Edinburgh and Brussels to open and close the project.


4. Website, web network and key networks (including Eurochild and Children in Europe) to provide dissemination, debate and exchange.


5. Online publications at 3 stages: comparative analysis; 4 thematic reports; final report.
